Charitable objects

A) TO PROMOTE AND IMPROVE THE EFFICIENCY AND EFFECTIVENESS OF COUNCILS FOR VOLUNTARY SERVICES AND VOLUNTEER BUREAUX/CENTRES IN SURREY FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY PROVIDING SUPPORT, REPRESENTATION AND THE EXCHANGE IF INFORMATION AND GOOD PRACTICES. PROVIDED THAT IN CARRYING OUT THESE CHARITABLE PURPOSES, THE NETWORK WILL SEEK TO CHALLENGE ALL FORMS OF OPPRESSION AND INEQUALITY AND TO GIVE PRIORITY TO WORKING WITH PEOPLE WHOSE FULL PARTICIPATION IN SOCIETY IS LIMITED BY ECONOMIC, POLITICAL AND SOCIAL DISADVANTAGE.
