Charitable objects
1) TO CONSERVE AND REGENERATE, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE LOCAL COMMUNITY, AND OF THE NATION, THE NATURAL, HISTORICAL, ARCHITECTURAL AND CONSTRUCTIONAL HERITAGE OF THE BECKERY ISLAND SITE, TOGETHER WITH ASSOCIATED BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES AND THE LAND AND BUILDINGS ADJACENT, AND SUCH OTHER NATURAL, HISTORICAL, ARCHITECTURAL AND CONSTRUCTIONAL HERITAGE THAT MAY EXIST IN AND AROUND THE TOWN OF GLASTONBURY, INCLUDING IN BUILDINGS (INCLUDING ANY BUILDING AS DEFINED IN SECTION 336 OF THE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990) OF PARTICULAR BEAUTY OR HISTORICAL, ARCHITECTURAL OR CONSTRUCTIONAL INTEREST; 2) THE PROMOTION OF INDUSTRY AND COMMERCE BY PROVIDING OFFICE AND SPACE FOR START-UP BUSINESS; THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE EDUCATION OF THE LOCAL COMMUNITY IN THE HISTORY OF THE MILL HOUSE AND ITS LINKS WITH THE MORLAND'S SITE AND OTHER LISTED BUILDING; TO OR FOR SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS THE TRUSTEE MAY FROM TIME TO TIME DETERMINE.
