TO PROMOTE, MAINTAIN, IMPROVE, DEVELOP AND ADVANCE PUBLIC EDUCATION IN MUSIC AND ARTS OF DIFFERENT CULTURES IN THE EAST MIDLANDS AND SURROUNDING AREAS, WITH A PARTICULAR FOCUS AROUND THE TOWN OF STAMFORD, BY THE ENCOURAGEMENT OF THE ARTS INCLUDING (BUT NOT LIMITED TO) MUSIC, DANCE AND SINGING AND IN PARTICULAR (BUT WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING) THE HOLDING AND ORGANISING OF LIVE MUSIC EVENTS.
