Charitable objects
1) TO PROMOTE THE RELIEF OF ILLNESS AND SUFFERING OF TERMINALLY OR SERIOUSLY ILL CHILDREN OR CHILDREN WITH SEVERE COMPLEX NEEDS (DISABILITIES AND/OR CONDITIONS RELATING TO THEIR ILLNESS) IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY IN THE NORTH WEST OF ENGLAND AND THE UK GENERALLY AND IN PARTICULAR (BUT WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO THE GENERALITY WHETHER GEOGRAPHICAL OR OTHERWISE OF SUCH OBJECT): A) BY PROVIDING PALLIATIVE AND SUPPORTIVE SERVICES BOTH MEDICAL AND RECREATIONAL, TO TERMINALLY OR SERIOUSLY ILL CHILDREN, OR CHILDREN WITH SEVERE COMPLEX NEEDS AND THEIR FAMILIES; B) BY PROVIDING RECREATIONAL AND SOCIAL FACILITIES, ACTIVITIES AND SERVICES TO TERMINALLY OR SERIOUSLY ILL CHILDREN OR CHILDREN WITH SEVERE COMPLEX NEEDS AND THEIR FAMILIES; C) BY CONDUCTING, PROMOTING OR ENCOURAGING RESEARCH IN THE AREA OF PALLIATIVE AND SUPPORTIVE SERVICES AND TO DISSEMINATE THE RESULTS; D) BY PROMOTING AND PROVIDING TRAINING TO THOSE PERSONS THAT CARE OF THESE CHILDREN; AND E) BY PROVIDING SPIRITUAL SUPPORT AND COUNSELLING TO PATIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES.
