Charitable objects
THE PRESERVATION AND PROTECTION OF GOOD HEALTH BY THE PROVISION OF GUIDANCE, EDUCATION AND SUCH OTHER SERVICES AS THE TRUSTEES DETERMINE, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY ADVICE ON ADDICTIONS AND HELP ON COMBATING ADDICTIONS; THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR YOUNG PEOPLE WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES; THE PROMOTION OF GOOD CITIZENSHIP FOR YOUNG PEOPLE WITH A VIEW TO INCREASING THEIR ACTIVE PARTICIPATION IN SOCIETY; TO ADVANCE EDUCATION OF CHILDREN IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY THE PROVISION OF CAREERS PLANNING AND MENTORING; TO ADVANCE EDUCATION IN GOOD PARENTING SKILLS, WITH THE AIM OF PREVENTING THE MISUSE AND ABUSE OF CHILDREN AND PROVIDE AFTER CARE TREATMENT OF ABUSED CHILDREN; AND TO ADVANCE THE UNDERSTANDING OF THE HINDU FAITH FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, BY THE PROVISION OF GRANTS TO HINDU ORGANISATIONS ESTABLISHED FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF RELIGION, INTERFAITH ACTIVITIES, EDUCATION, AND SOCIAL AND COMMUNITY MATTERS AND IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, BAPS SHRI SWAMINARAYAN MANDIR.
