Charitable objects

THE TRUSTEES MUST APPLY THE INCOME OF THE CHARITY IN FURTHERING THE FOLLOWING OBJECTS ("THE OBJECTS") (A) TO SUPPORT THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE HISTORICAL EVANGELICAL CHRISTIAN RELIGION, AS OUTLINED IN THE BASIS OF FAITH, AMONG CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE, BY MEANS OF PRESENTING AND TEACHING THE TRUTHS OF THE BIBLE, PRINCIPALLY IN SOUTH AFRICA, BUT ALSO IN OTHER COUNTRIES AND REGIONS ACROSS THE WORLD. (B) HI THE EVENT THAT FULFILLING THIS OBJECT IN THE DESIGNATED PRINCIPAL ACTIVITY AREA, SOUTH AFRICA, BECOMES IMPOSSIBLE DUE TO MAJOR POLITICAL UPHEAVAL, WAR OR OTHER DESTABILISING EVENT IN THAT COUNTRY, THE TRUSTEES MAY IN THEIR ABSOLUTE DISCRETION, AND BY MAJORITY DECISION AS DESCRIBED IN CLAUSE 18, APPLY ANY INCOME FOR OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES THAT SUPPORT THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE HISTORICAL EVANGELICAL CHRISTIAN RELIGION AS OUTLINED IN THE BASIS OF FAITH IN WHATEVER COUNTRY OR REGION THEY DEEM MOST APPROPRIATE. ALTERNATIVELY, THE TRUSTEES MAY, IN THESE CIRCUMSTANCES ONLY, RETURN FUNDS TO THE APPROPRIATE DONORS.
