GWHF's mission is to help relieve suffering and distress of needy children and their families throughout the world. We do this by supporting programmes and operations that meet our rescue goals: provide essential food supplies; deliver life saving emergency relief; prevent and reverse starvation; eradicate curable diseases; and promote community health.

Charitable expenditure

Some charities generate all, or a substantial part, of their income from investments which may have been donated to the charity as endowment or set aside by the charity from its own resources in the past.
