1) TO RELIEVE SICKNESS AMONGST PERSONS SUFFERING FROM LEUKAEMIA AND RELATED DISEASES AND IN PARTICULAR THOSE PERSONS WHO ARE PATIENTS AT ST BARTHOLOMEWS HOSPITAL, WEST SMITHFIELD, LONDON. 2) THE RELIEF OF YOUNG PERSONS UP TO THE AGE OF 30 WHO ARE SUFFERING FROM SERIOUS ILLNESS OR HANDICAP BY THE FUNDING AND THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES WHICH ENHANCE THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF SUCH PERSONS WITHIN THE UNITED KINGDOM.
