Charitable objects
1. TO FURTHER IN EVERY WAY ALLOWED BY LAW, THE EDUCATION AND RELIEF OF DEAF PEOPLE WITHOUT REGARDS TO RACE, RELIGION, CREED, DISABILITY, SEX, POLITICS, SEXUAL ORIENTATION OR FAMILY CIRCUMSTANCES, SUPPORTING THE HOLISTIC NEEDS OF DEAF PEOPLE FROM BIRTH TO DEATH. (THE TERM DEAF PEOPLE INCLUDES - DEAF, HARD OF HEARING, DEAFBLIND ADULTS, CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE. 2. TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF DEAF PEOPLE AND THEIR FAMILIES, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, BY A) PROVIDING EMPOWERING AND LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES SO THAT DEAF AND HEARING PARENTS MAYBE SUPPORTED TO RAISE THEIR DEAF/HEARING CHILDREN. B) RAISING AWARENESS TO ISSUES AFFECTING DEAF PEOPLE AND THEIR FAMILIES C) PROVIDING INFORMATION, ADVICE AND GUIDANCE TO DEAF PEOPLE AND THEIR FAMILIES D) PROVIDING FACILITIES OR RECREATION AND ANY OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION IN THE INTERESTS OF THE SOCIAL WELFARE OF DEAF PEOPLE AND THEIR FAMILIES E) PROMOTING SOCIAL INCLUSION AND PARTICIPATION IN MAINSTREAM SOCIETY F) BRINGING TOGETHER DEAF PEOPLE AND THEIR FAMILIES, STATUTORY SERVICES, VOLUNTARY SECTOR ORGANISATIONS AND OTHER INTERESTED PARTIES IN PARTNERSHIPS TO MEET COMMON OBJECTIVES
