1) TO PROMOTE THE PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH OF SUFFERERS OF MITOCHRONDRIAL DISEASE AND OTHER METABOLIC DISORDERS IN THE UNITED KINGDOM THROUGH THE PROVISION OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, SUPPORT, EDUCATION AND PRACTICAL ADVICE. 2) TO PROMOTE RESEARCH INTO THE CAUSES AND TREATMENT OF MITOCHONDRIA DISEASE AND OTHER METABOLIC DISORDERS ON TERMS THAT THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH ARE PUBLISHED. 3) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE SUBJECT OF MITOCHRONDRIAL DISEASE AND OTHER METABOLIC DISORDERS.
