A) FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE HISTORY AND AESTHETICS AND UNDERSTANDING OF STONE SCULPTURE MADE BETWEEN 1066 AND 1200 IN GREAT BRITAIN AND IRELAND THROUGH THE CREATION AND PROMOTION OF A PERMANENT RECORD OF ALL SUCH SCULPTURE B) TO ASSIST IN THE PRESERVATION OF SUCH SCULPTURE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY FURTHERING AND SHARING KNOWLEDGE OF SUCH SCULPTURE THROUGH SUCH MEANS AS SEEM EXPEDIENT TO THE TRUSTEES.
