TO PROMOTE EDUCATIONAL, LEISURE AND RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE RESIDENTS OF THE PARISH OF DARLEY DALE AND THE ADJOINING OR NEIGHBOURING PARISHES OR DISTRICTS IN SUCH MANNER AS THE DIRECTORS FROM TIME TO TIME SHALL SEE FIT IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY DEVELOPING THE USES TO WHICH THE CENTRE, A CONFERENCE CENTRE, A LECTURE HALL, A BALLROOM AND A SPORTING VENUE.
