Charitable objects
TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE HEALTH OF YOUNG PEOPLE AND TO ADVANCE EDUCATION IN THE HEALTH OF YOUNG PEOPLE, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY:- 1) DEVELOPING AND MANAGING A SOCIETY FOR ALL PROFESSIONALS AND ORGANISATIONS WORKING IN THE FIELD OF YOUNG PEOPLE'S HEALTH IN THE UNITED KINGDOM; 2) PROMOTING MULTI-DISCIPLINARY TRAINING AND EDUCATION IN YOUNG PEOPLE'S HEALTH; 3) PROVIDING A CREDIBLE AND INCLUSIVE BASE FOR ADVOCACY FOR IMPROVEMENTS IN YOUNG PEOPLE'S HEALTH AND SERVICES IN PROFESSIONAL, MEDIA AND POLITICAL ARENAS; 4) PROVIDING A RESOURCE FOR THE DISSEMINATION OF INFORMATION ON YOUNG PEOPLE'S HEALTH, BOTH THROUGH THE PUBLICATION OF A JOURNAL AND THE MAINTENANCE OF A HIGH QUALITY WEBSITE; 5) SUPPORTING RESEARCH IN YOUNG PEOPLE'S HEALTH BY PROVIDING A NETWORK FOR RESEARCHERS BY FOSTERING STRONG LINKS BETWEEN ACADEMIC AND NON-ACADEMIC SETTINGS AND BY MAINTAINING A DATABASE OF CURRENT RESEARCH IN THIS FIELD; 6) AFFILIATING INTERNATIONAL BODIES INVOLVED IN YOUNG PEOPLE'S HEALTH.
