Charitable objects
1) TO PROMOTE ANY CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR CANCER SUFFERERS AS THE TRUSTEES IN THEIR ABSOLUTE DISCRETION THINK FIT, IN PARTICULAR BUT WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO THE FOREGOING, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THOSE NOT BEING RESIDENT IN AN INSTITUTION OR NURSING HOME AS DEFINED BY THE NATIONAL ASSISTANCE ACT 1948 BY THE PROVISION OF GRANTS BY CASH OR KIND TOWARDS EQUIPMENT AND SUPPORT AND THE PRESERVATION OF STANDARDS OF HOME CARE FOR THOSE RESIDING PERMANENTLY OR TEMPORARILY IN THE UK. 2) TO RELIEVE FINANCIAL HARDSHIP AND PROVIDE PSYCHOLOGICAL RELIEF AMONG PERSONS WHO ARE NURSING A PERSON SUFFERING FROM CANCER IN ANY PLACE OTHER THAN AN INSTITUTION OR NURSING HOME AS DEFINED BY THE NATIONAL ASSISTANCE ACT 1948 VIA A) GRANTS FOR A RESPITE SERVICE USING CARE ATTENDANTS SO THE CARER CAN GET A BREAK. B) GRANTS TO HELP RELIEVE FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OF THE CARER AT THE DISCRETION OF THE TRUSTEES C) GRANTS TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC IN ALL AREAS RELATING TO CANCER CARE AT HOME. D) BY THE PROVISION OF GRANTS FOR RECREATION (AT THE DISCRETION OF THE TRUSTEES). 3) TO HELP SUFFERERS WHO ARE UNABLE TO OBTAIN DRUGS FROM THEIR PCT WHICH IS DEEMED NECESSARY BY THEIR DOCTORS BUT DEEMED EXPENSIVE BY THE PCT.
