TO PROMOTE MUSIC THROUGHOUT THE COUNTY OF SOMERSET BY: 1) PROMOTING MUSIC AMONGST CITIZENS OF ALL AGES NORMALLY RESIDENT IN THE ADMINISTRATIVE AREA FOR WHICH THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE (HEREINAFTER REFERRED TO AS "SOMERSET") 2) PROVIDING FINANCIAL AND OTHER SUPPORT FOR MUSIC. 3) THE PROMOTION AND SUPPORT OF MUSICAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR PEOPLE IN SOMERSET. 4) ENABLING BY FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE OR OTHERWISE YOUNG PEOPLE TO OBTAIN THE USE OF MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS AND/OR MUSICAL TUITION.
