Charitable objects
SUCH EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL IN THEIR ABSOLUTE DISCRETION DETERMINE, AND IN PARTICULAR, ALTHOUGH WITHOUT LIMITATION 1 TO PROMOTE THE CONSERVATION, PROTECTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT AND FEATURES AND LANDSCAPE OF BEAUTY IN THE MANOR OF DOWNHAM BY SUPPORTING CONSERVATION AND WILDLIFE ENHANCEMENT PROJECTS; 2 TO PROVIDE FOR THE PRESERVATION, DEVELOPMENT AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE FABRIC OF THE ST LEONARD'S CHURCH, SCHOOL, VILLAGE HALL AND SIMILAR PUBLIC AMENITIES TOGETHER WITH BUILDINGS LISTED AS BEING OF SPECIAL ARCHITECTURAL OR HISTORIC INTEREST AND ANCIENT MONUMENTS IN THE MANOR OF DOWNHAM; AND 3 TO SUPPORT AND ASSIST WITH SIMILAR PROJECTS IN THE PARISHES OF TWISTON, RIMINGTON, WORSTON AND CHATBURN, AND WITHIN THE MANOR OF CUERDALE AND WITHIN THE FORESTS AND MANORS OF THE HONOR OF CLITHEROE.
