Charitable objects
THE CHARITY IS ESTABLISHED FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY PERSONS OF AFRICAN ORIGIN AND ANYONE WHO IS RELATED TO SUCH PERSONS, NOW LIVING IN BEXLEY, GREENWICH, DARTFORD AND GRAVESHAM AREAS OF LONDON AND THE UNITED KINGDOM IN GENERAL BY; ADVANCING IN LIFE AND HELPING YOUNG PEOPLE THROUGH, 1) THE PROVISION OF RECREATIONAL AND LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES PROVIDED IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE, DESIGNED TO IMPROVE THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE; 2) PROVIDING SUPPORT AND ACTIVITIES WHICH DEVELOP THEIR SKILLS, CAPACITIES AND CAPABILITIES TO ENABLE THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN SOCIETY AS MATURE AND RESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUALS. TO RELIEVE ELDERLY PEOPLE WHO ARE IN NEED, BY PROVIDING ITEMS, SERVICES OR FACILITIES CALCULATED TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF SUCH PERSONS. TO ALLEVIATE HARDSHIP AND DISTRESS CAUSED BY THE BREAK UP OF MARRIAGE, DIVORCE, SEPARATION OR FAMILY DIFFICULTIES BY THE PROVISION OF LONG-TERM SUPPORT. THE RELIEF OF POVERTY, THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION AND THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS AND THE PRESERVATION OF HEALTH OF PERSONS LIVING IN WEST AND EAST AFRICA AND ANY OTHER PARTS OF AFRICA AS THE TRUSTEES MAY DECIDE.
