5 THE OBJECTS OF THE CORBET BED EMBROIDERIES TRUST SHALL BE: - 5.1 TO PROMOTE THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE ART AND CRAFT OF EMBROIDERY AND RELATED SKILLS BOTH ANCIENT AND MODERN, BY THE PROVISION OF OR ASSISTANCE IN THE PROVISION OF CLASSES, LECTURES, DISCUSSIONS, RESEARCH, OR SIMILAR ACTIVITIES, IN SCHOOLS OR OTHER EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENTS OR PLACES OF LEARNING. 5.2 TO PROMOTE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT THE CONSERVATION, PRESERVATION AND DISPLAY OF THE CORBET BED HANGINGS AND OTHER SIMILAR EXAMPLES OF THE ART OF EMBROIDERY AND RELATED SKILLS OF HISTORICAL OR ARTISTIC MERIT OR IMPORTANCE.
