TO COMMEMORATE THE WORK OF RAYMOND WILLIAMS BY PROMOTING THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC, THROUGHOUT THE UK, BY RUNNING CLASSES AND SUPPORTING INITIATIVES IN PARTICULAR IN THE SPHERE OF ADULT EDUCATION AND THROUGH THE PROVISION OF BURSARY FUNDS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE EDUCATION OF DISADVANTAGED STUDENTS.
