1 TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE, THERAPIES AND RELIEF TO THOSE PEOPLE SUFFERING FROM MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS OR OTHER NEUROLOGICAL CONDITIONS, INCLUDING CHILDREN OVER THE AGE OF 3 WITH CEREBRAL PALSY, AUTISM OR BRAIN DAMAGE, PRIMARILY FROM THE COUNTY OF ESSEX AND NEIGHBOURING COUNTIES BUT ALSO FROM ELSEWHERE IN THE UK; 2 TO PROVIDE COUNSELLING, ADVOCACY AND ADVICE TO THE FAMILIES AND CARERS OF THOSE PEOPLE; 3 TO UNDERTAKE RESEARCH INTO MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ITS CAUSE, CURE AND PREVENTION AND TO PUBLISH THE RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH WHERE APPLICABLE; 4 TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE, THERAPIES AND RELIEF TO ANY OTHER PERSON REFERRED TO THE CHARITY BY A QUALIFIED MEDICAL PRACTITIONER AS BEING LIKELY TO BENEFIT FROM ITS SERVICES, AND COMING PRIMARILY FROM THE COUNTY OF ESSEX AND NEIGHBOURING COUNTIES BUT ALSO FROM ELSEWHERE IN THE UK
