Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE COMPANY SHALL BE FOR THE BENEFIT OF PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES LIVING IN MACCLESFIELD AND DISTRICT AND THE NORTH WEST OF ENGLAND (HEREINAFTER REFERRED TO AS "THE AREA OF BENEFIT") BY, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY; (A) PROVIDING INFORMATION, SUPPORT AND ASSOCIATED SERVICES SO THAT THEY MAY LEAD ACTIVE AND FULFILLING LIVES AND PARTICIPATE MORE FULLY IN SOCIETY; (B) ADVANCING EDUCATION BY ENABLING PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES TO BECOME MORE INVOLVED IN THE PROCESS OF WORKING TOWARDS POSITIVE CHANGE IN THE PROVISION OF SERVICES FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES; (C) ADVANCING EDUCATION AMONGST ORGANISATIONS IN THE PUBLIC, PRIVATE AND VOLUNTARY SECTORS IN ORDER TO RAISE AWARENESS, SHARE BEST PRACTICE AND INCREASE UNDERSTANDING OF THE NEEDS OF PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES.
