Charitable objects
3.1 TO PROMOTE AND ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC, IN PARTICULAR BY THE DIFFUSION OF KNOWLEDGE, CONTRIBUTING TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF CULTURAL LIFE AND HERITAGE AND MAKING AVAILABLE EDUCATIONAL AND CULTURAL ACTIVITIES; AND 3.2 TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE BOROUGH OF GUILDFORD AND SURROUNDING AREAS, AND OF THE PUBLIC AT LARGE, WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE.
