TO RESTORE AND RETAIN FOR THE FUTURE, EXAMPLES OF FIRE FIGHTING VEHICLES, EQUIPMENT, CLOTHING, DOCUMENTED HISTORY - BOTH WRITTEN AND PHOTOGRAPHIC, AND DISPLAY THESE FIRE FIGHTING RELICS FOR THE EDUCATION AND RECREATIONAL INTEREST OF THE PUBLIC, WITH A VIEW TO HELPING STUDENTS TO KNOW OF OUR FIRE FIGHTING HERITAGE, TO LEARN SOMETHING OF THE TECHNOLOGY SURROUNDING FIRE AND FIRE-FIGHTING, AND TO HELP EDUCATE THE PUBLIC AT LARGE TO UNDERSTAND THE NEED FOR FIRE SAFETY.
