TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE IN THE FORM OF GRANTS ON SUCH TERMS AND CONDITIONS AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME DECIDE TO CURRENT OR FORMER PUPILS AT OR OF BANCROFT'S SCHOOL AND AT THEIR DISCRETION ANY OTHER PERSONS WITH A BANCROFTIAN CONNECTION WHO ARE IN THE OPINION OF THE TRUSTEES IN NEED OF SUCH FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO PROMOTE THEIR EDUCATION TRAINING OR ADVANCEMENT
