Activities - how the charity spends its money
Darassalaam is engaged in the propagation and preservation of Islamic teachings by providing the community it serves with a place of worship and religious instruction. In addition it conducts marriage ceremonies, funeral and burial service as well as addressing matters relevant to Muslim community. In doing so, we adhere to the guidance of Anjuman-e-Islah-al-Muslimeen (charity number 505732).

Charitable objects
A) TO PROTECT, PRESERVE AND PROPAGATE THE BELIEFS OF ISLAM IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE TEACHINGS OF THE HOLY QURAN AND THE EXAMPLE AND TEACHINGS OF PROPHET MUHAMMAD ( PBU ) AND HIS COMPANIONS. B) TO PROVIDE PLACES OF WORSHIP AND TEACHING. C) FACILITATE FIVE DAILY PRAYERS, FRIDAY, ( TARAWEEH ) DURING RAMADAN EID AND FUNERAL PRAYERS. D) ENCOURAGE MUSLIM CHILDREN AND ADULTS TO BECOME RESPONSIBLE HUMAN BEINGS AND TO CONTRIBUTE POSITIVELY TO SOCIETY AT LARGE. E) ADDRESS ANY MATTERS RELEVANT TO ISLAM AND THE MUSLIM COMMUNITY IN PETERBOROUGH. F TO SUPPORT THE TEACHING AND MISSION OF THE ANJUMAN-E-ISLAH-AL-MUSLIMEEN (MADRASA TALEEM UL ISLAM) OF UNITED KINDOM (A REGISTERED CHARITY WITH CHARITY NUMBER 505732)
