Charitable objects
A) TO ADVANCE THE WORK OF THE CHRISTIAN CHURCHES IN ESSEX AND EAST LONDON BY THE
ADVANCEMENT OF THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION, RELIEF OF FINANCIAL HARDSHIP AND SICKNESS, AND THE
ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION AND SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS ARE CHARITABLE ACCORDING TO
THE LAWS OF ENGLAND AND WALES. THE ASSOCIATION SHALL SEEK TO FURTHER THESE OBJECTS BY:
= FACILITATING COMMON WITNESS TO THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION BY THE CHURCHES;
= PROVIDING MEANS OF CONSULTATION BETWEEN THE CHURCHES;
= WORKING IN CO-OPERATION WITH OTHER ECUMENICAL BODIES.
