Charitable objects
TO PROMOTE, PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE PHYSICAL HEALTH AND MENTAL WELL-BEING OF THE INHABITANTS OF LEEDS AND SURROUNDING AREAS (HEREINAFTER REFERRED TO AS 'THE AREA OF BENEFIT'), IN PARTICULAR, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, BY ASSOCIATING TOGETHER THE SAID INHABITANTS AND LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO: I PROVIDE EDUCATION, TRAINING, ADVICE AND SUPPORT; II PROVIDE OR SUPPORT THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE HEALTH AND CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF THOSE IN NEED.
