= TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THE PRESERVATION, PROTECTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF AN EIGHTEENTH CENTURY, GRADE II LISTED SCHOOLHOUSE AND TWO ADJACENT BUILDINGS IN THE GROUNDS OF THE COTESBACH ESTATE BY CREATING AN EDUCATIONAL RESOURCE CENTRE. = TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC, AND YOUNG PEOPLE IN PARTICULAR, IN THE SUBJECTS OF THE ENVIRONMENT, HERITAGE AND THE ARTS AND THE MANY AREAS WHICH LINK THESE THREE SUBJECTS, ESPECIALLY WHERE SUCH EDUCATION PROMOTES KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND UNDERSTANDING NEEDED FOR A NON-OIL DEPENDENT, SUSTAINABLE FUTURE, THAT IS, DEMONSTRATING HOW TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE PRESENT WITHOUT COMPROMISING THE ABILITY OF FUTURE GENERATIONS TO MEET THEIR OWN NEEDS.
