(I) TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PEOPLE IN THE PUNJAB AREA, INDIA BY (A) THE ADVANCEMENT.OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING; (B) THE RELIEF OF POVERTY, SICKNESS AND DISTRESS; (C) THE PROMOTION OF GOOD HEALTH. (II) TO DEVELOP THE CAPACITY AND SKILL'S OF THE MEMBERS OF THE SOCIALLY AND ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGE COMMUNITY OF PUNJAB IN. SUCH A WAY THAT THEY ARE BETTER ABLE TO IDENTIFY, AND HELP MEET, THEIR NEEDS AND TO PARTICIPATE MORE FULLY IN SOCIETY.
