THE TRUSTEES SHALL HOLD THE TRUST FUND AND ITS INCOME UPON TRUST TO APPLY AS THE TRUSTEES SEE FIT FOR OBJECTS WHICH ARE EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE UNDER THE LAW OF ENGLAND AND WALES AND IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE EDUCATION OF POOR SCHOOL CHILDREN IN DEPRIVED AREAS OF THE UK BY PROVIDING GRANTS TO THEM TO ENABLE THEM TO ATTEND EDUCATIONAL SCHOOL TRIPS AIMED AT DEVELOPING THEIR KNOWLEDGE OF INTEREST IN AND ENGAGEMENT WITH HISTORY.
