Charitable objects
1} TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE SUBJECT OF SIKH CULTURE, PRACTICE AND HERITAGE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT. 2} TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE SIKH COMMUNITY BY PROVIDING AND ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR EDUCATION. 3) TO HELP YOUNG SIKH PEOPLE, ESPECIALLY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES, SO AS TO DEVELOP THEIR CAPABILITIES THAT THEY MAY GROW TO FULL MATURITY AS INDIVIDUALS AND MEMBERS OF SOCIETY, 4) THE RELIEF OF UNEMPLOYMENT FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE SIKH COMMUNITY IN SUCH WAYS AS MAY BE THOUGHT FIT, INCLUDING ASSISTANCE TO FIND EMPLOYMENT. 5} TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE SIKH COMMUNITY IN LEEDS THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITION OF LIFE OF THE SAID INHABITANTS.
