Charitable objects
TO PROMOTE ANY CHARITABLE PURPOSE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE MEMBERS OF THE TAMIL COMMUNITY AND PERSONS WHO ARE OF SRI LANKAN ORIGIN NOW LIVING IN THE LONDON BOROUGH OF HARROW AND IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE FOLLOWING PURPOSES: THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF PERSONS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES OR FOR THE PUBLIC AT LARGE IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND WITHIN THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITION OF LIFE OF SAID PERSONS. THE PRESERVATION AND PROTECTION OF HEALTH BY THE PROVISION OF COUNSELLING AND ADVICE ON HEALTH ISSUES. THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION AND RELIEF OF FINANCIAL HARDSHIP, PARTICULARLY AMONGST THOSE SEEKING ASYLUM, GRANTED REFUGEE STATUS AND OTHER MIGRANTS AND THEIR FAMILIES, ESPECIALLY THE PROVISION OF LANGUAGE SERVICES, ADVICE REGARDING SUCH MATTERS AS IMMIGRATION SOCIAL AND WELFARE RIGHTS, HEALTH, HOUSING, COMMUNITY INTEGRATION, EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT.
