A) THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE ISLAMIC RELIGION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC IN BARKING AND DAGENHAM. B) THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION AND THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF RELIGIOUS AWARENESS, SOCIAL WELFARE, RECREATION AND LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITION OF LIFE OF THE INHABITANTS OF BARKING AND DAGENHAM. C) THE PRESERVATION AND PROTECTION OF HEALTH AND RELIEF OF POVERTY, DISTRESS, SICKNESS AND INFIRMITY AMONGST PERSONS LIVING IN BARKING AND DAGENHAM. D) THE PROMOTION OF RELIGIOUS HARMONY IN BARKING AND DAGENHAM BY PROMOTING AND ENGAGING IN DIALOGUE BETWEEN THOSE OF ISLAMIC AND OTHER RELIGIONS AND THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE.
