(1) THE THERAPEUTIC USE OF MUSIC FOR THE RELIEF OF PHYSICAL AND MENTAL ILLNESS AND DISABILITY, THE ALLEVIATION OF DEVELOPMENTAL, EMOTIONAL, SOCIAL AND BEHAVIOURAL DIFFICULTIES AND THE PROTECTION AND PROMOTION OF GOOD HEALTH; (2) THE PROMOTION OF THE USE OF MUSIC THERAPY BY OTHER ORGANISATIONS INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO HOSPITALS, PRISONS, HOSPICES AND SCHOOLS; (3) THE PROMOTION AND PUBLICATION OF RESEARCH INTO THE THERAPEUTIC USE OF MUSIC.
