TO RELIEVE THE SUFFERING OF GREYHOUNDS AND LURCHERS IN NEED OF CARE AND ATTENTION BY REASON OF SICKNESS, MALTREATMENT, POOR CIRCUMSTANCES OR ILL-USAGE AND, IN PARTICULAR, TO ASSIST IN THE MAINTENANCE OF RESCUE HOMES OR OTHER FACILITIES FOR THEIR RECEPTION, CARE AND TREATMENT.
