Activities - how the charity spends its money

TAF established a mental health centre in Burco Somaliland. It has two units: out-patients and in-patient. TAF was entirely responsible for the construction cost, which was raised from both local community (Burco) and indeed Diaspora . Having completed the construction of the first mental health centre in Somali region, we have been able to support and provide the running cost of the centre

TOGDHEER ABROAD FOUNDATION (TAF) MAIN OBJECTIVE IS THE RELIEF OF POVERTY, SUFFERING, HEALTH ISSUES AND UNEMPLOYMENT OF PEOPLE IN SOMALILAND'S MAIN CITIES, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY PROVIDING EDUCATION AND TRAINING FOR EMPLOYMENT, HEALTH ADVICE AND ADVICE AND SUPPORT IN SETTING UP THEIR OWN SMALL BUSINESS. ALL OUR PROGRAMMES WILL THE INPUT FROM THE LOCAL COMMUNITIES AND THEY WILL BE ABLE TO HELP THEM TO REALISE THEIR PERSONAL POTENTIALS.
