(1) TO PROMOTE THE EFFICIENCY OF THE ARMED FORCES OF THE CROWN; (2) THE PRESERVATION OF HEALTH AND THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS AMONG SERVING MEMBERS OF THE ARMED FORCES AND THEIR DEPENDENTS; (3) THE RELIEF OF THOSE IN NEED, BY REASON OF ILL HEALTH OR FINANCIAL HARDSHIP AMONG SERVING MEMBERS OF THE ARMED FORCES AND THEIR DEPENDENTS; AND (4) SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS THE TRUSTEES MAY IN THEIR ABSOLUTE DISCRETION THINK FIT.
