1. TO RESTORE, PRESERVE, REPAIR, MAINTAIN AND IMPROVE THE HOUSE, ARCHIEVES AND GROUNDS OF THE CHEKHOV HOUSE-MUSEUM IN YALTA FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC; 2. FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION BY THE DISSEMINATION OF THE LITERARY LEGACY OF ANTON CHEKHOV FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN BRITAIN, RUSSIA OR THE UKRAINE; 3. TO ASSIST IN THE CREATION, MAINTENANCE AND CARE OF CHEKHOV MEMORIAL GARDENS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE HEALTH AND WELL-BEING OF THE CITIZENS OF ENGLAND AND WALES; 4. THE PROMOTION OF THE ARTS IN BRITAIN, RUSSIA AND UKRAINE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY ANY MEANS WHICH THE TRUSTEES THINK FIT WHICH ARE CHARITABLE AT LAW.
