Charitable objects
(A) TO ADVANCE CHRISTIANITY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE STATEMENT OF FAITH CONTAINED IN THE APPENDIX TO THIS MEMORANDUM OF ASSOCIATION IN CUMBRIA AND IN OTHER SUCH PARTS OF THE UNITED KINGDOM OR THE WORLD AS THE TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME THINK FIT. (B) TO RELIEVE AGED PERSONS AND PERSONS IN CONDITIONS OF NEED HARDSHIP SICKNESS OR DISTRESS ARISING THEREFROM WHETHER IN CONNECTION WITH HOUSING OR ACCOMMODATION OR SHELTER OR ANY OTHER PURPOSE (WHETHER BY WAY OF LOAN GIFT THE PROVISION OF ACCOMMODATION OR SHELTER IN ANY OTHER WAY) IN CUMBRIA AND IN SUCH OTHER PARTS OF THE UNITED KINGDOM OR THE WORLD AS THE TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME THINK FIT. (C) TO PROMOTE AND FULFIL SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES BENEFICIAL TO THE COMMUNITY IN CUMBRIA AND IN SUCH OTHER PARTS OF THE UNITED KINGDOM OR THE WORLD AS THE TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME THINK FIT. (D) TO ADVANCE EDUCATION WHETHER OF CHILDREN (ABOVE OR BELOW COMPULSORY SCHOOL AGE) OR OF ADULTS. (E) TO BRING RELIEF TO THE POOR IN THE UNITED KINGDOM OR ELSEWHERE IN THE WORLD.
