KCU (Kettering Community Unit) is a community support charity providing the following -Free training and education courses to support people into employment or to improve their quality of life -Furniture re-cycling, low cost household goods to those in need via our charity shops -Food bank operations to support those in food poverty Our ethos is that everyone in our community matters .

Charitable objects
TO RELIEVE POVERTY, UNEMPLOYMENT AND ADVANCE EDUCATION IN NORTHAMPTONSHIRE BY THE PROVISION OF INFORMATION, GUIDANCE, ADVICE, TRAINING AND RELATED SERVICES. TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE INFIRMITY OR DISABILITY, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL CIRCUMSTANCES WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE.
