The main activity of the Association in the past year has been:1. To promote the advancement of agriculture, horticulture, rural crafts and the breeding and rearing of livestock. 2. To hold an annual show for the exhibition of livestock, farm produce, horticulture produce, machinery and implements. 3. Generally to encourage education, skill, industry and good husbandry in agriculture.

A) TO PROMOTE THE ADVANCEMENT OF AGRICULTURE, HORTICULTURE, FORESTRY, ALLIED INDUSTRIES, RURAL CRAFTS AND THE BREEDING AND REARING OF LIVESTOCK. B) THE IMPROVEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT OF AGRICULTURAL IMPLEMENTS AND THE DEMONSTRATION OF IMPROVED METHODS AND PROCESSES CONNECTED WITH THE ABOVE. C) THE HOLDING OF AN ANNUAL SHOW FOR THE EXHIBITION OF LIVESTOCK, FARM PRODUCE, HORTICULTURAL PRODUCE, MACHINERY, IMPLEMENTS, TOOLS, APPLIANCES, FEEDING STUFFS, FERTILISERS, SEEDS AND OTHER THINGS CONNECTED WITH OR APPERTAINING TO AGRICULTURE. D) GENERALLY TO ENCOURAGE EDUCATION, SKILL, INDUSTRY AND GOOD HUSBANDRY IN AGRICULTURE PROVIDED ALWAYS THAT NOTWITHSTANDING ANYTHING HEREIN EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED TO THE CONTRARY ALL OBJECTS OF THE SOCIETY SHALL BE OF A CHARITABLE NATURE.
