Charitable objects
THE CHARITY'S OBJECTS (THE OBJECTS), BEING PRIMARILY ADVANCED IN WARWICKSHIRE, ARE: A) TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE HEALTH OF THOSE WHO HAVE COGNITIVE BRAIN DISORDERS, INCLUDING THOSE WHO ARE OF OLDER AGE, BY HELPING TO PROVIDE REMINISCENCE THERAPY AND ASSOCIATED ACTIVITIES WITH A VIEW TO IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE. B) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF CARERS WHO WORK WITH OLDER PEOPLE AND/OR THOSE WITH COGNITIVE BRAIN DISORDERS IN PARTICULAR BY PROVIDING TRAINING ON REMINISCENCE THERAPY. C) TO ADVANCE EDUCATION FOR YOUNG PEOPLE IN PARTICULAR BY HELPING THEM TO LEARN FROM OLDER PEOPLE AND DEVELOP NEW SKILLS. D) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN REMINISCENCE THERAPY AND SOCIAL HISTORY BY MAINTAINING A CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF REMINISCENCE WORK THAT WILL PROVIDE A RESOURCE BANK, OF ARTICLES AND BOOKS, REFERENCE MATERIALS AND EVERY DAY OBJECTS FROM THE PAST THAT WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR USE BY VOLUNTEERS, PAID EMPLOYEES AND MEMBERS WHO WILL SHARE THESE WITH SCHOOLS, VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE INTERESTED IN SOCIAL HISTORY. FOR THE PURPOSES OF THIS CLAUSE THE TERM 'OLDER PEOPLE" MEANS ADULTS AGED 55+ WHO ARE IN NEED BY VIRTUE OF PHYSICAL AND /OR MENTAL INCAPACITY, WHETHER TEMPORARY OR LONG- TERM, SOCIAL ISOLATION, OR DETERIORATING PERSONAL, OR DOMESTIC CIRCUMSTANCES.
