Charitable objects
1 TO CONSERVE AND PRESERVE HISTORIC BUILDINGS AND OTHER STRUCTURES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC, WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING IN PARTICULAR THE ROYAL COURT THEATRE IN LIVERPOOL. 2 TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE ARTS, INCLUDING BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THEATRE AND THE PERFORMING ARTS. 3 TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF MERSEYSIDE AND THE SURROUNDING AREA THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES OR FOR THE PUBLIC AT LARGE IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITION OF LIFE OF THE SAID INHABITANTS AND MEMBERS OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC IN DRAMA, OPERA, MUSIC AND OTHER ARTS.
