TO FURTHER OR BENEFIT THE RESIDENTS OF ROSSENDALE WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, RACE OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS, OR OTHER OPTIONS, BY ASSOCIATING TOGETHER THE SAID RESIDENTS AND LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE SOCIAL WELFARE AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES FOR RECREATION LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF BEING A PRACTICAL EXPRESSION OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH BY IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE RESIDENTS.
