Charitable objects
TO PROMOTE ANY CHARITABLE PURPOSE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS, AND ESPECIALLY THE PARENTS AND CHILDREN, OF MILNTHORPE AND RANGE-OVER-SANDS AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS, WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX, RACE, DISABILITY, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS, AND IN PARTICULAR BUT WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO THE FOREGOING; A) TO RELIEVE POVERTY, SICKNESS AND DISTRESS B) TO PROMOTE THE PRESERVATION AND PROTECTION OF HEALTH C) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE INHABITANTS D) TO ENABLE THE STATUTORY AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS AND INHABITANTS TO CO OPERATE IN A COMMON EFFORT TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE, WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR. THE SAID INHABITANTS. (2) TO ENHANCE THE DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATION OF CHILDREN PRIMARILY UNDER STATUTORY SCHOOL AGE BY ENCOURAGING PARENTS TO UNDERSTAND AND PROVIDE FOR THE NEEDS OF THEIR CHILDREN THROUGH COMMUNITY GROUPS AND BY: (A) OFFERING APPROPRIATE PLAY, EDUCATION AND CARE FACILITIES AND TRAINING COURSES, TOGETHER WITH THE RIGHT OF PARENTS TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR AND TO BECOME INVOLVED IN THE ACTIVITIES OF SUCH GROUPS, ENSURING THAT GROUPS OFFER OPPORTUNITIES FOR ALL CHILDREN WHATEVER THEIR RACE, CULTURE, RELIGION, MEANS OR ABILITIES; (B) ENCOURAGING THE STUDY OF THE NEEDS OF SUCH CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES AND PROMOTING PUBLIC INTEREST IN A RECOGNITION OF SUCH NEEDS; (C) INSTIGATING AND ADHERING TO FURTHERING THE AIMS AND OBJECTS OF THE PRE-SCHOOL LEARNING ALLIANCE
