Breakaway offers activity breaks for young people aged 4-18 with bowel or bladder diversions/dysfunctions, and their families. We offer the opportunity to meet others in similar situations, to talk, share experiences and to take part in confidence building activities.People may apply to Breakaway for assistance towards the cost.

TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE AGED 4-18, THEIR FAMILIES AND CARERS, WHO ARE SUFFERING FROM BLADDER AND/OR BOWEL DIVERSIONS/DYSFUNCTION'S BY THE PROVISION OF ACTIVITIES, ADVICE AND FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE SO AS TO ADVANCE THEIR QUALITY AND CONDITIONS OF LIFE. TO ADVANCE IN LIFE AND RELIEVE NEEDS OF YOUNG PEOPLE THROUGH. THE PROVISION OF RECREATIONAL AND LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES PROVIDED IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE, DESIGNED TO IMPROVE THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE. (C) PROVIDING RECREATIONAL AND LEISURE TIME ACTIVITY IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR PEOPLE LIVING IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT WHO HAVE NEED BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABILITY, POVERTY OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES WITH A VIEW TO IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF SUCH PERSONS PROVIDING SUPPORT AND ACTIVITIES WHICH DEVELOP THEIR SKILLS CAPACITIES AND CAPABILITIES TO ENABLE THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN SOCIETY AS MATURE AND RESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUALS.
