FOR THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS AND THE PRESERVATION AND PROTECTION OF GOOD HEALTH OF INDIVIDUALS WITH DIABETES (IN PARTICULAR THOSE WITH TYPE 1 DIABETES), THEIR FAMILIES AND CARERS, THROUGH ANY CHARITABLE MEANS THE TRUSTEES THINK FIT. 2. TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC, INCLUDING INDIVIDUALS SUFFERING FROM DIABETES, THEIR FAMILIES AND CARERS, IN THE CONDITIONS OF TYPE 1 AND 2 DIABETES AND ITS RELATED CONDITIONS. 3. TO FUND AND PROMOTE RESEARCH INTO DIABETES, INDUCTING RESEARCH INTO THE ORIGINS, PREVENTION AND CURE OF TYPE 1 DIABETES, AND CURE FOR THE CONDITION OF TYPE 2 DIABETES, AND TO PUBLISH THE USEFUL RESULTS THEREOF."
