Supports ministries, missions and activities of members of the Order in England and Wales and abroad in collaboration with the laity, the diocesan clergy and other Congregations, under the authority and pastoral guidelines of the local Bishop.

Charitable objects
1) TO ADVANCE THE ROMAN CATHOLIC RELIGION PURSUANT TO THE RULE OF LIFE OF THE MISSIONARIES OF LA SALETTE (A COPY OF WHICH IS SET OUT IN THE APPENDIX HERETO) AND THE PROVISION OF THE MISSIONARIES OF LA SALETTE (HEREINAFTER CALLED "THE PROVINCE") IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, BY THE PROVISION OF PASTORAL CARE AND SUPPORT TO CHAPLAINCIES IN HOSPITALS AND OTHER CENTRES. 2) THE PROMOTION OF RELIGIOUS HARMONY FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC BY: A) EDUCATION THE PUBLIC IN DIFFERENT RELIGIOUS BELIEFS INCLUDING AN AWARENESS OF THEIR DISTINCTIVE FEATURES AND THEIR COMMON GROUND TO PROMOTE GOOD RELATIONS BETWEEN PERSONS OF DIFFERENT FAITHS; B) PROMOTING KNOWLEDGE, MUTUAL UNDERSTANDING AND RESPECT OF THE BELIEFS AND PRACTICES OF DIFFERENT RELIGIOUS FAITHS.
