Charitable objects
1. THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, THOSE OF WEST AFRICAN ORIGIN AND THEIR DEPENDANTS IN TAMESIDE AND ELSEWHERE; 2. THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES, IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE, FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID PERSONS; 3. THE RELIEF OF POVERTY, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, FOR THE PEOPLE OF WEST AFRICA.
