Charitable objects
3.1.1 THE RELIEF OF POVERTY, AND ADVANCEMENT OF RELIGION OR EDUCATION CONNECTED WITH THE ROMAN CATHOLIC RELIGION, IN PARTICULAR, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE SUPPORT OF THE ELDERLY IN ENGLAND AND IRELAND; AND 3.1.2 THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE RELIGIOUS AND OTHER CHARITABLE WORKS OF THE ORDER; AS THE TRUSTEES, WITH THE APPROVAL OF THE SUPERIOR GENERAL, SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME THINK FIT (THE "OBJECTS"). 3.2 THIS PROVISION MAY BE AMENDED BY SPECIAL RESOLUTION BUT ONLY WITH THE PRIOR WRITTEN CONSENT OF THE COMMISSION.
